Description 2-Acetylfluorene is a crystalline powder of light yellow and is stable under normal temperatures and pressures. 2-Acetylfluorene is incompatible with strong oxidising agents. 2-Acetylfluorene on decomposition releases carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.
